Our mission statement, below, formally covers what we do, but sounds a little stiff. Basically we are veterans working to help veterans in whatever way we can. Even if it's to tell you we can’t help you, but let you know who you can turn to. Any question, regardless of how small, could be important because rules and regulations are ever-changing. So what may have applied to a friend or relative only a couple of years ago, may be different now. Therefore it's important that you stay current.

Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Rockland County Veterans Service Agency is to improve conditions for Rockland County Veterans, military personnel, and their families.
Our primary goal is to provide prompt, courteous, and effective assistance to all of the Rockland County veterans, service members and their families.
Further, to act as a liaison for veterans to other county, state and federal agencies, as well as increasing public awareness of the conditions and situations unique to veterans and their families.
